SecureData awarded ISO 27001 security certification

SecureData has been awarded the ISO 27001 accreditation, highlighting the company’s strict adherence to the operation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the supply, installation, support and management of secure data network and storage solutions to businesses as specified by the British Standards Institution.

SecureData is one of only a few in its field to achieve this certification, highlighting to both existing customers and prospective clients that it operates its ISMS at a level which is recognised as an international Code of Practice.

In order to achieve the certification SecureData was required to demonstrate that its information security system was under explicit management control and underwent a rigorous review and audit in the process. The certification exhibits SecureData’s commitment to lead by example, complying with those specific standards that it can help customers and prospects adhere to with the implementation of required management controls.
