SecureData launched a research inquiry into the proposed EU General Data Protection Regulation. Entitled, ‘EU General Data Protection Regulation - UK Enterprise Inquiry’, the research reveals wide-ranging concerns on the legislation and possible ‘collateral damage’ to UK businesses. During the inquiry, SecureData commissioned a Vanson Bourne survey of 100 senior IT managers in large UK enterprises (more than 1,000 employees) across the financial services, manufacturing, retail, distribution/transport and other commercial sectors.

commercial sectors. The research focuses on the security risks of Bring
Your Own Device (BYOD) schemes. Entitled, 'My dog ate my iPad - security
risks of the consumerised workplace', the research reveals that
flexible working is a huge trend across a number of industries with 98
percent being allowed to work from home at least once a month.
